East Tennessee get together

For anybody who is planning on coming (or thinking about it), can you give me some ideas as far as food and drinks go? I don't have a grill (yet ;)); maybe we could order something? Just wanna make sure everybody is taken care of.

LOL - Thanks man. I think we are getting a cabin in Gatlinburg somewhere around that time now that I think about it..... so I'll see what those plans are and get back to this thread.

So, come on guys, who's down for this! Meghan said she'd be willing to send along some stuff (exactly what I don't know) for us. I'd just like to get some sort of idea on a number of people.

Also, maybe give a list of things you might like to try, and perhaps myself and/or other attendees can bring them with.

Well, since nobody besides Bob has suggested a date, I guess the weekend of April 11-13 if that works for everybody. Location: my house (see below post).

I'm a maybe at this point. My work schedule isn't out far enough in advance to say for certain. I'm not particular in what to try, but I would like to see opticoat applied by Chris. I have a syringe I've wanted to try for 2 years lol. New babies leave zero time.

I hope my schedule works out to attend.
 
I was just curious if somebody had a vehicle they would like to use for us to play on (or if everybody wants to do their own vehicle, that's fine too). If not, we can use my mom's 2002 Honda CR-V. It looks like this:




Note: the CR-V pictured above is not her actual vehicle, but that is what it looks like. But hers has some accessories on it (rain guards, roof rack, running boards) and is cloth interior. It's been fairly well taken care of (all things considered), but has quite a few scratches and needs a good clay bar, compound, polish, and a lot of plastic cladding that needs to be protected (probably with DLux).

Thoughts? Comments? Suggestions?

Im all about coming out - give me a serious date and time and I'll make it. Maybe we can correct my '59 Vette, cherry red original paint?!?!?!? Id be down as long as you all let me be the chief!?!??!!?









































Kidding, I dont own that rare beauty..... but I did get your heart rates up lmfao! I will bring my wife's car that is all swirled up though...... a 2010 Ford Fusion, silver.... anyone down?!?!?!?

Saturday April 12 is the date I'm shooting for. I guess I will have to send out some PM's to people to see who is for sure coming.

And yeah, bring the wife's car! That would be a nice car to work on and get you some bonus points to boot, eh? ;):p
 
I'm wanting to, but I'll have to see what work looks like. They've not released the schedule that far out yet. If I make it I'd be in either a 2010 grey tacoma that's never been polished or the wife's black caddy srx that's got a lot of swirls.

LOL - I may seriously be able to make it.... and I may bring a beat up Black Focus if you want some work! My sister lives in Knoxville and I told her I would detail her ride for her birthday in May..... It is beat all the way up, so if people want ridiculous pics for their portfolios or want to have every situation thrown their way in one ride to learn, this would be the perfect car to do! :buffing::buffing::buffing:
