Step 1. go to Dollar Store and get a container of 'LA'S TOTALLY AWESOME OXYGEN POWDER' for a buck.
Step 2. Fill a container type bucket with enough hot water and add a few measuring cups (the one with soap), I usually use two heavy ones.
Step 3. Mix to disolve the powder, then throw in all your pads in
and let them soak for at least a day, the more days the better. I've had pads soaking in the stuff for a whole week. Make sure the sponge part of the pad is lying face down since the pads will float to the top, if you have more pads than the surface, find something to submerge the pads.
Step4. Take the soaked pads to the basement tub and squeeze
them out under running worm water, the more you squeeze the cleaner the pad becomes.

Or you can just get Ultra Clean laundry detergent pacs from Costco -their own label (Kirkland) Nothing has gotten my pads cleaner than this product.

How do you use the pacs to clean the pads? Drop the pac in a bucket of water and let it all soak?
