Echo20 dilution all over the map

I see that carpro on their site recommends between 1/10 and 1/15. Autogeek has it at 1/5 which carpro doesn't recommend for anything. It that a misprint or are people using the dilution off label?
 
As I recall, the original label had a 1:5 or close to it dilution for waterless washing. A lot of people had streaking issues and eventually they (Carpro) changed the label and suggested dilution but apparently no one ever went back to the AG product page and changed it. I use the 1:15 for waterless, 1:25 for QD and 1:200 for Rinseless.
 
I had problems with streaking at high dilution ratios (1:10). I ended up settling on 1:20 plus adding an ounce of reload to the mix and primarily using it as a drying aid/QD for my coated car and have been very happy with it. Between this site and Autopia you'll see a hundred different ratios that people seem to be happy with. But on my black car I felt like it was too much work dealing with the streaking at 1:10.

I just purchased some Echo20, should receive it in 3 days. The reason I purchased it is to use it as a drying aid. So when you say 1:20 + 1 ounce of Reload, what quantity are you talking about? Are you talking about making a 32 ounce bottle, a gallon?

I just have a 32 oz. bottle I use but I literally put in 20 oz. of water plus an oz. of Ech2o plus an oz. of Reload
 
Not sure if this helps or is even related to the OP but I make 315 ml(Sorry I use ml’s not Oz)mixtures of Ech20 and Reload as a QD or Spray Sealant.


Reload Ech20 Mixture:

Dilute
250ml water
50ml Reload
15ml Ech20
 
For RW I go with 2 ounces for 3.5 gallons, whether is the GD method or 2BM. When making up WW I tend to use the 1:10 ratio and haven't had an issue, using distilled water as well with the WW, tap water with the RW ratios, no issues. I see it was mentioned that Ech2o was bought for drying aid use, man, its such a great product, try it was a WW and RW and you'll be blown away, I guarantee it:dblthumb2:
