Hi all.
I just picked up a PC 7424 and set of Edge Pads from autogeek.net. I have an old Deere tractor in the garage that I am using to practice with the machine on before I approach my cars. My problem is this. I was using the blue pad on the machine, and noticed a black stain and a slight tear developing on the pad. Upon closer investigation, I realized that the plate the foam pads are bonded to is apparently cracked.
I'm not sure what could have caused it. I didn't think that I was applying too much pressure, but as I said, I am new to this and may have been, unintentionally.
I was wondering if anyone else has seen this happen, had it happen to them, or have any advice on how to avoid it.
Thanks in advance.
