What are the effects of leaving car care products in a car. Freezing and high temps come to mind. Is there a chance of "messing up" some things? I dont see any warnings about it NOT to do it but I would like to know from professionals.

You should be ok as long as you don't let them freeze or get overly hot. Some of the chemical make-up could be affected if you let it freeze depending on the product. But just to be safe, don't let them freeze :).

Good question. I worried about that all last summer but nothing bad happened. I do bring the paste wax inside. The only thing that I've had happen was "Simple Green" separated into clear/green liquid when it probably frooze. I'm just guessing but I would think AG gets calls every week about that subject since stuff is shipped north and put on porches.

Good point about shipping Jimmie -I've always been very hesitant about ordering in the winter for fear of damage, but I wonder if I'm just being paranoid.

Storage Temperature (Product):
1. Car care products should not be stored at temperatures below 35 - 40oF, if they freeze they will become unstable and therefore unusable, ideal storage temperature range- 50- 75oF with an average humidity range. Most car care products have a ‘useful life’ of approximately 2-3 years provided they are stored as above.

Do not store at temperature extremes (i.e. very hot or cold) and avoid extreme temperature swings as the chemicals will become unstable. Most car care products will separate and are no longer usable after being subjected to freezing temperatures

2. Carnauba wax storage-a refrigerator will provide a cooler temperatures and a more consistent humidity that will slow the evaporation of solvents from the wax, thus keeping the wax softer and easier to use over a longer period of time. Most waxes have a unlimited ‘useful life’ provided they are sealed in their original container and stored as per the recommendations above.
