Don’t be so sure of that. Most shippers (carriers) charge a minimum amount for smaller packages, say under 1lb. I can send you an item about the size of an aspirin tablet in a 3x5 bubble wrap envelope and it will cost the same as if I send it to you in a 9x6x4 box…it’s a constant ‘minimum’ charge. Tuesday it may cost $13.03 to send it to an address in the same region as the shipper but on Thursday it may cost $12.97 to the same address…or it may cost $13.50; this is assuming you’re tied into the shippers software/cost tables.
Now I can’t say it’s fuel that plays a part in varying minimum charges but they do vary pretty frequently, both up and down. I would imagine larger and heavier packages have the same variance.

Paul, luckydawg I apologize for my behavior earlier today. I should've replied in a more adult manner. It does drive me crazy that so many members recommend buying products other than here. You don't want to support this store because it's owned by a greedy millionaire (allegedly), but you have no problem supporting a greedy billionaire (Jeff Bozo) that gives you nothing in return but free shipping. I shouldn't have to remind everyone that once all the small businesses owners give up because Amazon beats them to death over $5 we will all pay a higher price for everything that we purchase.
With that I am done with this thread. Hopefully you can make sense out of it

Appreciate it, Flash-meister.
But, I do not regularly recommend buying products anywhere else. And, I have no ill will towards AutoGeek.
Fact is, I rarely buy anything detail related nowadays. I already have TONS of it. And if I buy on Amazon, I make sure the orders are fulfilled by PBMG.
But just this past summer, I convinced my service manager to switch from the crap they were using in the detail department to REAL products. (I don't work in that department, just got sick of cringing every time I walked by.)
I insisted he purchase the machines, pads, and products from AutoGeek, which he did.
So in no way, shape, or form am I anti-AG.
