Here are some pics from the weekend. If you read my earlier post, the Dodge was done by my lovable but hardheaded husband.

Local Car wash
Polishing compound
Cleaner wax
PB Trim restorer

The Pilot is a work in progress. There are few cobwebs I can find but alot of RIDS induced by the local car wash on the hood mainly. I guess the steel blue metallic on the Honda is quite forgiving

ONRed and clayed last week

This week
MWW (I really liked this stuff)
Dried with OID
After my test spot

I did the rest of the hood with

M105 with a Purple Megs Pad on the PC (after numerous other combos)
Swirl X with a white CCS hand (my arms were killing me after the PC)

Didn't have as good of results with the CCS pads....dunno why.

Covered with Opti-seal for now.

At the rate I am going, it will probably be the end of the summer before I get the whole car as corrected as I am able.

You are becoming quite a detailer, Jenn.

I find it to be my therapy. My job is QUITE stressful and busy and doing this I can be in my own little world, and no ones life if depended on my decisions for that time.

It is also quite a good work-out as well.

Truck looks great, you've directed your husband as well as possible. :D

Hondas going to be a beauty soon too, good work! Not sure why, but I'm not a big fan of CCS's either :xyxthumbs:

Great analogy Jenn.:buffing:

What do you do Jenn? I gather medical since you used the see one, do one, teach one in your other post.

Pediatric oncology...

detailing keeps me sane
I could see why. Oncology alone would have its days, let alone Peds. You must have a lot of inner strength.

I am a PA in Cardiothoracic Surgery. My job is stressful enough. Can't imagine your stress. I also use detailing to "get away."

Cool. My new transplant PA starts this week. Due to the ever decreasing work hours of the residents, we are becoming more and more dependent on our NPs and PAs. They do a great job and are some of my best friends.

Oncology and Card Surgery are alot alike though....some things you can fix...and some things are out of your hands no matter how hard you try. Fortunately in my world...we fix alot more than we can't

Sounds like you would be good to work with. Glad to hear you appreciate the PA/NPs. Keep up the good work both with saving lives and making cars prettier.

Will do....you do the same. Therapy is therapy......and at least with detailing you get to see the fruits of your labor every time you get in to go somewhere

Nice work Jenn! :xyxthumbs: It's nice to have a little time to "get away" from the stress if only for a bit.
