Election Day: V O T E !!!

I even find Tesla's signature line to be provoking and inappropriate as it is political (and wrong on so many levels!). ;)

Really? I saw it on a bumper sticker and had no idea what it meant, but it sounded kinda neat, so thought I would use it.

It's basically saying that these federal judges can change the Constitution on a whim, justifying it by saying, "Times are changing, so the Constitution should too." Just political BS, really.

It is???

What about State Court Judges??? How come they are left out?

I believe any amendments to the Constitution are done at the federal level, aka through Congress, not at the state level.

Cool, now I get it.

I changed it now and found something that sounded as smart but different.

Actually, I think state legislatures can both Propose and Ratify and Constintutional Amendment with limited federal interference. Atleast that is the way I am reading this site:

Amending the US Constitution – Methods For Amending the US Constitution

Regardless, I believe congress can only Propose an ammendment, it needs the state legislatures to ratify it.

WHOA! To amend the Constitution, it takes the States to ratify it. As for the judges, they are to interpret what the Constitution says. It is not their pesonal opinion, it is a legal interpretation of what is written, and what is written is in black and white. And above all, it is a document to LIMIT the control of the federal government, not increase it.

After working as an election judge from 5 AM to 8:30 PM, I am more appreciative of the process that makes the country work. Thankfully, in my little town, there isn't a big thing about voter fraud, everybody there knows most of the people who vote.

The thing about voting is, although I disagree with some people, if they are informed and have thought about the long term effects and consequences, I can agree to disagree. The problem is, sound-bite solutions, are a knee-jerk reaction to a politicial agenda. People need to THINK before they vote.

Did someone have a rough night last night politically speaking? :props:

I certainly didn't except for the illegal Mexican that won in Florida, other than that, I'm glad Obama's out and Palin's in. :props:

^ Can't read that?

Is it "U Mad"? If so, like angry... no, like crazy, my pysche says no.

Is it "U Med"? Short for "medicated"? If so, only psychotropically.

Is it "U Red"? If so, the answer is... maybe, I think.

By the way, I changed my sig for you. Much better, right?
