Hello Everyone,

I was contacted by a client to see if I could solve his problem for car maintenance, he was looking for a low maintenance solution for his "new to him" M3 Sedan. I recommended the installation of Opti Coat Professional for his Jerez Black M3, after reading up on it he also decided it was the best route for him.

Here are the before pictures:

I'd have to do something about these swirls.

At least I would have nice eye candy to look at while I was detailing

During:

I started by washing the wheels, wheel wells and rims

Good for now, I'd later take the rims of the vehicle to give them a more thorough cleaning and full surface opti coat protection.

Claying, a normal amount of contaminants

I then found out that Meg's MF pad with D300 and Green B&S pad with HD Polish was my best bet

I then worked my way around the car

In this picture I've polished up to the rear door and driver's door and on still remains

Here is half the front fender done.

Here I polished the swirls away from the headlights

Here we can see some sanding marks

After some rotary with car pro wool, they were severely diminished or gone.

This is just a random shot of the testing sections to find out where I would get the best gloss.

HD Polish won.

Thank so much for reading, please tell me how I did.

Looking good. You may want to add your product list next time saying which products you used to achieve the results you did.

Do the NSX next!

Nice work, but that NSX :) I would like me one of them

As I understand, I cannot put a products list here if this vendor does not sell the products. Sorry just being cautious.

I've done a NSX and AE86 for this customer already but the NSX was just a thorough waxing session. I still have to de-hologram it from what the body shop did.

This NSX is sponsored by us, so honk if you see it on the road.

Sweet! You did a great job on the M3. Sexy cars.

Really great results ! I assume the customer was quite happy !?

Awesome job! That 50/50 outside looks great.

Any reason why you don't use the guard on the halogen lights? I just picked up the same one and was wondering if it's just a choice or if you think it helps with pictures or lighting or some reason.

You did fantastic my friend. That was some really nicely done work. Congrats on a beautiful turn around.

Love your photography too.

no real reason actually I've gone through many of these lights and the guard is only to protect the glass which never really breaks

Nice work!! What machine do you use??

I used the griots garage 6 inch and a rotary
