emblem removal..

I appreciate all the input but would like to not have to make another trip to the store to do this, so any other input on wd-40 for removing the adhesive?

Also after removing and cleaning, should I apply the new emblem to unprotected paint or put it over a wax etc

You need a clean surface to apply your new emblem. Clean with IPA before installing.

I am a floss, hair dryer, goo gone guy.

I did same procedure for door guards too.

Polished and seal after. An AIO worked for me.

I think you'd be safe with WD. Can't be any more caustic than goo gone. Maybe test it on another painted surface first?
