So i have a bottle of multi purpose cleaner in my back seat along with a microfiber. My friend got into my car and asked if i was ocd when they saw how clean my car was along with the emergency bottle. Does anyone else carry emergency supplies in there car? I usually wipe my car down when i'm sitting in a tim hortons line up that is moving extremly slowly.

also, me and my last girlfriend got into a heated argument because she touched my window and left handprints all over it. I was already in a bad mood that day which didn't help. Has anyone else got into an argument or a heated debate with a friend/family member/spouse over that kinda stuff?

I keep waterless, rinseless, APC, glass cleaner, carpet cleaner, Sonax Full Effect, interior cleaner, leather cleaner, and a wide variety of towels in my trunk, but I've never gotten into an argument because of it.

sorry i just have elaborated more on it. I have had many people ask why my car is so clean and never had an argument.. Except that one day when i was in a bad mood and she just set me off... i'm not a crazy :P

I just tell people my rules:
1. The only paint to be touched is on the back of the door handles.
2. Don't kick open the door.
3. Shut the door using the glass or plastic trim on the pillar.

No one thinks I'm too crazy, but maybe a little.

Yes, I keep a full kit in each of my cars! Detail spray, waterless wash, glass cleaner, micro fibers, tire shine, etc...

I have a red crate from Target that I keep in the boot of my car and its loaded with detailing supplies. Everything from glass cleaner, wheel cleaners, wheel brush, interior scent, tire cleaner, tire gel and applicator inside a box, APC, waterless wash, homebrew QD and spray sealant, quart of Mobil 1, Alien Kleen and I think that's it.

On the side of the crate I have 6 plush edgeless mf towels, 3 regular edgeless mf towels, a variety of all purpose mf towels, tire inflator, digital tire gauge and a mf car duster from Griot's.

You never know when something comes up, gotta be prepared:xyxthumbs:

Whatever detailing supplies that are in my car...is my business. If someone says something "cute" about it:
I can make that my business too!!

Has any of the other people waiting in that kind of line-up ever call you a goober?

Never with any previous (girl)Friend;
or: Family member/Spouse.

However:
Anybody else, as far as I'm concerned:
Is definitely fair game.

I keep some sample size 303 Speed detailer that we sample out at shows and a microfiber in my door panel. Keeping my dash and center counsel clean give me something to do while I'm in traffic.

Was I the only one who had to look up what a Tim Horton is?

i use to have that annoy feeling too, until i discover those sitting with me dare not move around or look pressurize and that's on a DD

No they havn't :P i just get weird looks.haha. Sorry i should have also mentioned that tim hortons is like the dunken dounuts of canada. At my work, 5 bucks of each pay comes out and goes into an account so we get coffee and dounuts every friday.lol

Also my ex was kind of a sleaze and didn't care about stuff i did so that might explain the argument

In a bag in the cargo area of my Honda Element: Megs Ultimate Ultimate Wash & Wax, Megs Ultimate Quik Wax, Megs D155 Last Touch, Megs D120 Glass Cleaner, Megs Natural Shine Wipes, and assorted microfiber towels.

They just got through hanging the new owner's sign on my local Tim "BK" Horton.
(And that BK doesn't stand for Big Kahuna!!)

Does sleaze, perchance, rhyme with easy?

Well lets just say she spreads quicker them the ebola virus ;) In a relationship or not she got around.haha. Sorry to get off topic. Yes i don't think bk will change tims much up here.

I keep quick detailer/waterless wash, glass cleaner, interior cleaner, 303 stain remover, bug & tar remover and 2-4 MF towels.

I carry a bunch of mf's, AF Spritz, some interior dust wipes, a Waterless wash and glass cleaner in my car. When I'm on the road and I have a big client in the afternoon, i always give it a WW at lunchtime.
When in a traffic jam or waiting for someone, i always clean the dash and windows...

Did I ever had an argument? No, I suck it up. Not worth having a fight for something that can get cleaned and will get cleaned anyway, regardless if it was dirty or not, that's what we do :D

Sometimes I think people take it to far... Yes, my car is almost always clean, washed every few days, but it is still a car and is getting used. No need for a car to be the reason for fights or pressured people in your car or whatsoever

Did you pull a Ray Rice on her? ..too soon?

Yes, you are not alone.

Here is something you might want to add to your car kit.

A can of Baby Wipes. They are big and soft and work amazingly well for removing bug and bird bombs as soon as you spot them. And then you throw it away.

I used to carry around all that stuff, now just a few MF's and a spray bottle of UWW+.

That's all I need.

Bottle of QD and MF towels in a baggie in the trunk. Also have the same thing in my wife's trunk although she's never, to my knowledge, used it. My wife and others are respectful when they are in the car. If I see something that leaves a fingerprint, etc., I let it go. Not worth the conflict.

Now, if I can just get my wife to use the door handle instead of the window glass to shut her car's door....
