So we had an employee car show at my work a couple of weeks ago, and I was allowed to advertise and photograph because I was providing the winner with a gift card for detailing services.

As you can imagine - the paint condition of nearly every single vehicle was horrible. There was one car (a 2013 Boss Mustang) that did not need correction work. It happened to belong to a friend of mine who came to me for advice the minute he bought the car, so he has been maintaining it properly.

Here are some pictures of the good, the bad, and the ugly...

That was just a few of the pictures, but you get the idea.

Cool. Thanks for sharing Zach. Really liking the M3 next to you.

Yup, he's a friend of mine... he has adopted the proper detailing lifestyle once he bought that thing. He spent like $300 buying products from me and about had a heart attack, but I assured him it was all worth it. So far so good :dblthumb2: It's got straight pipes and sounds like a beast!

Nice! Never heard of a work car show! My fellow employee's would bring their swirled out cars and some wouldn't even bring cars cause they don't own one, hah!

Nice pictures too!

Thanks for sharing Zach...

Pretty neat that your Company had this Car Show!
Good for Human Resources...

Great coup for you!
(Lots of potential customers' vehicles in dire need of your detailing expertise.)

Dang it..... you had to share this right after my lunch, seriously!?!?! I almost lost my lunch!

Did your car win best paint?

Nice!!!! I know those cars sound amazing with just about any exhaust. Especially when you get them near 8 grand on the tach.

Is it DCT?

DCT is weird to drive at first, but man when you are use to it.... As you said, bring those RPM nice and high and feel the power!

The first time I drove one (e92 M3 coupe) was with the competition package over here in Germany when I was here the first time.

Man let me tell you, get on the Autobahn, smash it through the firewall, and click off the shifts with the paddles as you scream for the governor. Whew, what a rush.

Some Very fine photography, nice cars also love that blue mustang color...

Thanks... this was our 1st official one, but many other buildings have done them in the past so we just decided to follow in their path.

^Yup, it was a good idea and a nice way to spend part of a Friday. Unfortunately I don't see too much business coming my way from it... not many people were taking an interest in paint correction as I was explaining what swirls were and how they can be corrected. Some people just don't care.

^Sorry! haha They only had a "best of show" award, nothing fancy like best paint. My car was just there to advertise anyways. Maybe next year I will have some more mods that will make it more of a reason to stop and look at it. New rims are a justified business expense, right?? Advertising! sure :/

^Yup, sounds so nice! SMG I believe... but what do I know... I have a Lexus.

SMG was offered in the e46 M3. It was a single clutch unit while the DCT is a dual clutch transmission. Hence the DCT name.

Wow... work car show... that's pretty cool.
If my company had one... it wouldn't work out too well.
For some reason, I doubt NJ Transit would let me borrow one of their buses for the day.

That M3 and Cobra R are sweet!

This ^^^

Plus that evo is gorgeous, been on the fence myself lately about trading in for one. That one is nice and clean too, sweet.

Thats a great tradition to start, good for company morale.

With samples like your cars, I don't know how anyone could not go to you for their detailing needs! Just looking at your "booth" screams professionalism, from the nice sign to the window poster. When someone like yourself goes the extra mile in presenting themselves, it really promotes confidence in you and your product.

Thanks for sharing and I hope you get a chance to correct and coat some of those cool cars.

Happy detailing!

Those are some nice cars for an employee car show. Very impressive #ThumbsUp

^Love that Evo as well... very tastefully modded.

^Unfortunately I wasn't around to talk to people that were looking at my car (since I was asked to photograph the event, so I was busy doing that) so I'm not sure too many people fully understood what I was displaying. Like I mentioned, I don't really expect to get much business (if any) from it, but I just wanted to try to make people aware of what their paint should look like. I did go around and place a personalized note and business card on many of the vehicles that I wanted to work on that complimented their car and directed them towards the services page of my website :)

^Believe it or not, many other facilities have nicer cars. Another one of our employee office buildings (a few miles away) have a car show every year and there are usually several Vipers, Lotuses, and other nice cars as well. Hopefully this year's event will encourage some more people to participate next year.
