Empty Gallon Jugs

Again, yes, US Plastics is great if you're willing to eat the huge shipping charge that's going to be triple to price of the bottles. And wait a week for them because they ship ground.

Go to your grocery store (Safeway) and get some Arizona Ice Tea, you won't find a more sturdy gallon jug than that.

Just checked my last two orders, both times I paid $17.61 for shipping on orders around $50.
The shipping does really cut into the cost savings. On the other hand, US Plastics does have a great selection of bottles and dispensers. Similar products can be found at Uline. Amazon, of course, is great too.

I totally agree with Rsurfer:dblthumb2: Those Arizona Tea Jugs are Super Duty!

Ice tea gallon jugs are super thick. I use them for used oil storage in between dump runs. The milk jugs are too thin and they crack filling my haz mat container.

Fantastic idea on the ice tea containers, my search is over.

Just took a look at the bottom and it's a #7 which is pretty heavy plastic.

Just came back from the grocery store. Of course I checked out the Arizona iced tea jug, not because of the contents, because of the container:)

Seems like very sturdy plastic. Great idea

Don’t get many chances to use it... Based on my minimal use it pales in comparison with the couple of others I’ve tried. [Mckee’s Bug & Road Grime Remover] used full strength.

Poorboys didn’t even cross my mind. And I highly doubt it would’ve worked as well to clean this up. But like I said it’s rare to come across some real deal bugs out here. Lol.

Since I have started using orange degreaser to remove bugs, I have not looked back. It works very very well and I don't have to have an other dedicated product in my already too big
arsenal that I need to carry in the van.

If it's a different type of plastic than the one being used to ship the product, be very careful. Some products will eat through various types of plastics and not others. You should always try to match plastic types and most product ship is polyethylene plastic if memory serves (too tired to go check). But basically, the number printed on the bottom of the container should be the same on your replacement container, and I know of no products who ship in #7 plastic containers.

I have a couple of different prewash foams that are orange degreaser based. Even when diluted through the foamcannon the bugs splatter removes very easy and clean when PW rinsed off. You can dilute them at a higher strength in a spray bottle and it's even more effective. Only needed on baked bugs. And feel like it's more LSP safe than the other alkaline based degreaser foams I have. If those is diluted in a to high strength it degrade some LSP alot. So moving on to use orange degreaser foam more know because of that. And it's not only bugs but road film and other contaminants gets off with it too.

Really all I want to do is mix some apc and super degreaser in 10:1 and 5:1. I have jugs for everything else. Are you thinking ice tea jugs wouldn't be good for that?

I have some APC and some windshield washer fluid in those jugs for over a year with no problems. Now if you were to store wheel acid, I dunno.

I do not know. But here is why I was giving the warning.

A few years back, when I first started my business, a friend's birthday came up and I decided to give him a good basic arsenal to take care of his car.

Since I had every product in large quantity, I got some ketchup style squeeze bottles and generic spray bottles and filled them with everything here needed from sealant to cleaners.

About 2 weeks later, he called me and said that 2 of the bottles had kinda melted and the products all leaked out.

I remember one of those products was Optimum Opti-Bond... a water based tire dressing. I was in shock that something that should be so mild could eat through plastic. I did some research and have been matching plastic types ever since. Never had an other incident.
