Hi all! Can you suggest other ways on how we could cut down our energy usage? We have tried everything to lower our energy consumption but it still the same. Do you happen to know some other ways to reduce energy consumption costs? Please help!

Have you tried an energy audit from your utility company? Usually free

The list of things is endless. Why not tell us what you've already done to reduce your energy use?

First couple of things that come to mind:

•Start your own traditional family bath night,
by bathing in a galvanized wash-tub filled with
cold water, out on the back porch.

•Take your clothes and beat them
on rocks down by the creek.

IMHO:
Water heaters, washer/dryer = big money pits!!

I would start with insulation and go from there.

Good for you BOB, sarcasm, followed by actual help. BRAVO

Jfelbab - is correct! We, or the OP may miss something. Energy audit is the way to go. Professional onsite evaluation, is better than what can be suggested here. IMO

It's for our convenience store and small bnb. We did look into insulation first though there must still be some that we can improve. Maybe the walls?
One of our guests suggested getting continuous monitoring but I think it might be expensive. Any opinion about this?

Got any more P.S.As.?

Bob
