Engine bay and wheels 06 Titan

My Titan got a little tlc. Comments and critique welcome.

Right now getting my feet wet on all the products out there.
Wheels get a degreaser and 2 coats of wax. Meg nxt
Engine bay I prep with wd40 (Heard its great on jetski's for the protecting everything in engine bay) I agitate as necassary. Finish with a dressing off the shelf brand for now.

Truck gets cleaner wax and nxt. no claybar as yet.

Wheels Before

Engine bay before shots. Mainly wanted the firewall and lower areas cleaned up. Top is a breeze.

After shots of engine bay. (I ran to ace and changed out the rusted batter bolt, also switched out 2 bolts for chrome on the front cover.

Nice to people keeping their wheels and engine bay clean. I'm always pulling my wheels off to clean the wheels, painted calipers and wheel wells. I always keeps my engine bays clean.

Wd-40 on the engine worries me .... it is not meant to dry, its a lubrication and pentration product. So now it will likely capture and hold any dirt or dust and in no time be dirty again and likely more so. Even with a dressing over it, it likely wont dry and cure properly. A good safe water based non-silicone dressing is preferred under engine. Most consider 303 on lines, and sometimes Black Wow or Trim Restorer on plastics. Use very little ...

will revisit in 2 to 3 weeks to see how dirty. I normally don't pressure wash my supra's bay ( 1. sudsy soap 2. light rinse 3. blow dry) was experimenting here after hearing about the guys with their jetski's. I ended up hitting the Titan's bay with pressure washer then blow drying. (this removed alot of excess)

I've yet to make my first order as a little overwhelmed with all the different products. 303 and black wow are on my list. I have the over the counter stuff with uv protection.
