no need for water
just use APC 10:1 with clean towel and mist and wipe then dressing mist and wipe

rhetoricmixes- spray on straight ONR then wipe it off or wash it off

I usually just wipe off with ONR since I don't like to spray water directly on the engine. May take a but longer to make sure everything is off but it gives me a piece of mind.

if i wash the engine i usually use the compressor to blow off water near the sensor and plugs and alternator. battery is usually covered. so i should be ok right?
