Whats up everyone.
Just wanted to share a quick post of an engine detail I did a couple months back. Just now getting around to posting the pictures.
All i used was Megs Degreaser 5:1, MF and terry cloths, an old paint brush and tooth brush and a hose set on 'shower' for starters...then set it on 'mist' to rinse the degreaser off. Then dressed with Megs HyperDressing 2:1
Heres a before:
Kinda hasn't been done...ever lol
Heres a close up of the center to really show the dirt:
Thats what i like to call Arizona dust bunnies
Heres an after shot when it was all finished up:
I think she turned out quite nice :dblthumb2:
Here's the close up:
Thats what i call a sexy engine!
With engines...even super heavy dust and light grease like this one isn't too hard to do...most of it will rise away fairly easily. The owner was funny...he was watching me spray the degreaser on and he said "I don't think thats enough, thats pretty dirty...i think you really need to lay it on there!". I told him it was a very strong degreaser and didnt need all that much...then the wind shifted and blew a whiff of it in his direction. He coughed a couple times and said "WOW that stuff really is strong!"...and went inside lol.
Needless to say he was quite impressed when he saw how it turned out
Heres a couple more before/afters
There you have it. Hope you enjoy
