Engine Detailing Question

My high pressure washer DOES HAVE differnt spray settings. All the way from high pressure to just a light rinse spray. Trust me, it's safe. I bought it at Home Depot for $150. I've had it for several months. Never have a problem with it AND never a problem with it on vehicles.

I just don't use a PW on the engine. I do use them for Wheel Wells and undercarriage. If it works for you, then by all means use it. I have seen problems with their use and just refrain from it. :xyxthumbs:

I spray the Stoner on the engine right after I rinse it off. If you look at the Grand Marquie engine again, you will see where the engine is still wet. I drove the car for about an hour after I had just washed it.

hmm ill have to give that a try next time i give the car a wash. my other excuse is that i dont have anything worth showing off under the hood. lol.

i live on the north central side of sa, pretty close to 1604/281

WOW! :wow: When I lived in San Antonio, for 8 months or so, I was living in an apartment on Blanco & Bitters. I would do EVERYTHING to avoid going to 1604 & 281. No way... lol

Nice Job on both vechiles. I Start the motors before I rinse that if something starts go wrong our act funning I'll stop wash. I had a few problem with gm's mapp senors. I just use my fire hose nozzle bearly on to rinse off new cars, to have more control off where my spray is going Keep up the good work

I use to hang out with the Nissan/Infiniti people at R & N Garage there on Tavern Oaks in your area. Are you going to the Nissan/Infinitis ZCON 09 Car Show from 9/28 thru 10/02?

wow. i can litterally walk to r&n in about 5 min from where im sitting right now. that shop is in my neighborhood. i know rob and dennis because i worked at the oreilly on 1k oaks for 4 years and sold them parts all the time. rob has a sweet 240! i had no idea that show was even happening.

Tell Rob that Stephen Hollon wants to buy another bottel, or two, of BG MOA. I had to buy one from the Mercedes Benz dealership here in Harlingen. I hate going to that place. My dads Ford, Lincoln Mercury dealership no longer sells the BG stuff. If/When I drive to SA, his shop is one of the places I will be going to!!! :props:

btw - there will be Nissan/Infiniti people from all around the World will be there. Thats the Car Show. Not his shop. he he

Nice Work SRHTX :xyxthumbs:

I had a big cleaning job with my bay about a month or two ago.A lot of oxidised aluminium. It took me quite a bit of time, and even removed some parts to get good all round polishing. I washed it down 3 times with the pressure washer. I'm more wary of steam cleaning than a pressure washer.
