Engine detailing

It's much safer to use water to clean an engine since 1996.
I read up on an article that in 96' it became much safer but I still cover up some parts, alternator, computer box, fuse box, etc.
On my cars I maintain them so I don't have to use a water hose to clean my engines, my steamer and a small brush does the trick

i wouldn't wash your engine at a coin op unless it's next door. You should never wash a hot engine.

One never should.




Could be for the reason stated. It could also be that they'd had too many engines not start afterwards blocking up their car wash bays.

It is not allowed b/c of the grease and oil that ends up in the drain.

This is DP ENGINE DEGREASER. Then let it dry. Then a coat of sonus engine & trim coat.
