I have honestly hated my shop vac since I bought it. The only thing that was good IMO was the smaller diameter canister to maneuver around the garage. As far as actual

suction it was disappointing at best. After the last vacuum thread on here, and of course I chimed in to complain about mine, I decided to stop the pity party and do something

about it. Bought this last night. BIG TIME suction! :dblthumb2:

Nice !!!!!. Does it suck the carpet right out of the car ?.

I use that Ridgid too, lots of suction! I bought it online and it came with the free car kit.

Sweet! Rigid has a lot of great offerings across their whole line.
What are you going with the other one?

Pretty darn close!

Cool. I bought a shop vac also. Kinda wish I would have gotten something else...

Ditch it and get something else you like. I'm an enthusiast and my detail time is my therapy time. The old vacuum would just irritate me when I used it. Shame on me for not buying something different earlier.

:iagree: ...Some vacuums just suck.

Nice! That's definitely a bonus:dblthumb2:

Yes they do. I'm happy with the one I bought. I gave my old one to my son. He was happy to take it as he's been wanting one.

I use the exact same one, def. a great buy!

I wish there would be a smaller end adapter to help get under the seats better though.

I've got a slightly larger Ridgid I've had for about 5 years. I use it on the construction site and on my cars. Still works like the day I bought it. Good choice!

Good vacuum, but to be completely honest... Mine has been sitting in a shed ever since I got my Pullman-Holt 45-10P. It also costs 4 times as much, and we do 4-5 cars a day so commercial grade is the only way to go. The Rigid with serve you well.

I've had my ridgid for 6 years, it's used 6 days a week on multiple cars a day, the thing won't die. I've been looking for a reason to upgrade at my shop, but can't find one :xyxthumbs:
