Have you ever tried using Eraser as a drying aid/qd.

With heat/sun right now, I am getting tons of water spots even using turbo dryer, and hate using a dry towel on paint now. I've been using qd's to help dry, but sun/black car and qd doesn't work well. (see darker areas etc form it dried too quick)

Thoughts?

Ron,

Do you have a CR Spotless? Out of all the "junk" I've bought, this thing is really worth it and works. Honestly, if you keep the car wet when you are washing, you can rinse a black car with DI water and just let it bake dry in the sun.

That's pretty much how I do it. I just let the sun dry the car and then wipe it down with a QD when dry. Any minor "spots" are few and far between and will wipe right off with a QD.

Out of all the QDs, original Prima Hydro is tops in the sun. That's what I'll use on black when working in the sun.

Don't wash in the hot sun.

Sorry, not moving back north.

this is your answer.

or washing in the shade. No Rinse makes doing that quite easy if your hose doesn't reach.

Easier doing it early evening

Nothing wrong with the products or your process.... Its your paint. It is defective so you now have to sell the Stingray at a loss.

I volunteer take it off your hands.:laughing:

Sweet ride....
