If I am reading correctly, an MF pad is better to use with Essence than a foam pad like LC hybrids. Due to workability I am gathering?

What MF pad do you guys recommend? LC has some here on AG.

The Carpro gloss pad seems recommended also....but can I use and LC hybrid just as well?

I have a daily driver that doesn't need a lot of correction, but has some light marring. Please advise.

If polishing is needed -- as opposed to correction -- do you think a single step using the gloss pad would work, e.g., not use the MF pad at all?

I thought people were using MF pads with Essence because the MF pad provides more cut. You can get away with using a MF pad with Essence because it finishes well and has durable fillers that can potentially hide any micro-marring.

Since you don't need a lot of correction and because Car Pro gloss pads are foam, I think you are fine to use your existing foam pads no problem.

Do a test spot David. What might work on one paint may not work on another.:props:

Pad choice is dictated by the amount of cut needed.

When paired with a foam pad, Essence is capable of removing marring and light defects and finishing to an amazing gloss.

If you need more cut, use Essence with a MF pad and you'll get more cut.

That's really about all there is to it :) No different than deciding what pad to use with M205.
