Evansville, Indiana - Going to be in town in October

My buddy Scott Molden just sent me pictures of this sweet 1967 Pontiac GTO that we can use for the show...

We used a 1966 GTO for one of our other episodes and these cars work our great for demonstrating machine polishing techniques as the hoods and trunk lids are like huge, flat tables; perfect for showing how to use a polisher.

Here you can see both the outside of the studio, there's nothing to draw your attention to the building and no sign that there's a TV studio inside. Our first demonstration car is this 1964 GTO Convertible.

The son of the owner dropped the car off and you can see Dennis with Sheila Perkins, his Vice President of Sales, Sheila is actually a "Car Girl" and owns and drives a 1971 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme Convertible.

Here we've moved the GTO into the studio...

Red is a great color to demonstrate on too!

Thanks Scott!

Mike,

Here is another GTO from the Evansville area that's available for the show if needed!

1970 GTO - had a frame of restoration in the 90s

Working on one or two more options which I should have pictures of by this weekend!

One of those is a black 1928 Ford Model A....

I love the 1970 GTO Judge!

I buffed a Factory Drag version of this car years ago, owner told me it was 1 of 11 built.

What's really cool is bright colors like this really pop on TV. PLUS - These types of cars cater to the people that watch not only My Classic Car but ALL the Car Guy TV Shows.

There's only a few Car Guy TV Shows that have new cars on them like Motor Trend TV and they always seem like promotional shows for the car company whose car is on the show.

I like it. Let's talk on the phone to see if we can make this happen.

Is the Model A a hotrod or original?

Is it Fiberglass or steel?

If this event somehow gets changed from a meet and greet to a get together where there's something to be learned then I'd appreciate a phone call from someone. Thanks!

Eric,

Definitely interested in the 1970 GTO and I still need at least one more car at this time.

Check your PM's for my personal cell phone number and give me a call to discuss. You can also reach me here at AG

I need to confirm in concrete the 1970 GTO for either Wednesday or Thursday next week and then get you and/or the owner the directions to the My Classic Car TV Studio.

Will also need to coordinate which time slot, morning or afternoon shoot.

Thanks and let me know about the other cars...
