Ever Get That Sinking Feeling...?

Wow, that was tough to watch! All those great cars ruined. Thanks for putting it together. Those photos showed damage much worse than I ever saw on the news coverage.

Ain't that the truth...
And even these photos don't show all of the damages:
They look much worse in person!!

Holy cow!! Tough is not the word I would use.... but Bob's music selection made it somewhat more "upbeat"

from what I've heard the museum will be keeping them and the hole as part of an attraction

Yeah, I got that sinking feeling today when the dasboard lit up like a Christmas tree. Warning lights, buzzers and the whole shebang. Engine derated and would not run past 55 mph.

I road past there on my way to Chi-town the week it happened, but decided that parking would be an issue.

Talking with some of the Museum's employees...
The attendance has nearly tripled since this mishap!
I know I would keep the display going for awhile.

Hi VT...

Glad to hear from you again! :dblthumb2:

Still keeping busy, I see.
EPA-electronics the cause of this derating?

Stay safe out there.

Bob

Absolutely. DEF issue. Parked outside of Tracey Freightliner, East Syracuse as I type.
Losing out on high revenue Wal Mart dedicated freight.

Great sharing cyberspace with you again friend!

That was really depressing. I went there about 8 years ago and salivated over them.

But you pictures really brought home the amount of damage. Just made me want to
 :bolt:

It's kind of surprising that they will be left as-is as a display.
