Quick inspection of the car:
Right off the bat i noticed a deep scratch in the dead front center of the car.
Few other spots too like the roof:
Rear passenger quarter panel, right next to the baked on bird dookie, below that is the clear bra for the rear fender.
Lots of grime and road debris
Plenty of caked up brake dust
Used APC on the tires and wheels
Still dwelling, sprayed a little foam on it to keep the APC working
Thorough cleaning before more APC and SONAX full effect

While thats going on for the other three wheels, I went ahead and started the paint decontamination. DAWN ultra concentrated. Claybar all that stuff you do that gets your hands wet so you cant take too many pictures.
Fender linings
Air Dry, we used waffle weave towels and a little qd spray i mixed up to prep the surface and leave a streak free dry.
We wet sanded the spot and did a spot correction. Our paint gauge showed a very healthy coat on the hood. The polishing later ensured we had a uniform finish on the hood. The flex da and CCS pads were a great combination to really get even correction with the curves of the car.
The paint had extensive swirling, but no deep gouges that a dirty dealership machine wash would do. The clear bra was faded and very dull.
After the correction, We ended up with extra time to do a polish with the Rupes Big Foot.
I decided to use the Yellow pad w/ the Rupes Quarz Gloss Medium Gel Compound... or as i call it.. GREEN. The results were amazing.
We applied Menzerna PowerLock and gave it a good hour to cure while we detailed the rest of the vehicle. A LSP after a week would really make this car disappear.
