Which AIO is your fall back product? Working a ton and recovering from surgery I don't have the time or the body now to do several steps. I just want to wash clay and apply with a Porter cable I own. I use to be very into detailing and I haven't in quite a while. My car is pretty much new also a white 2015 audi a3

I'm using Griot's Garage One-Step Sealant right now the few times I use an AIO. The correction isn't bad and it looks amazing. The downfall of this product just like most AIO's is the very short lifespan. The last time I used it, the protection only lasted about six weeks.

HD Speed seems to be generating a lot of buzz these days. People seem to love the stuff and it gets great reviews. I've not tried it yet.

I have only used Poli-Seal, but I paired it with an aggressive pad (cyan HydroTech) on a heavily swirled black paint, and it took out nearly all imperfections.

HD Speed is simply amazing. Good cut. Good finish. Easy to work with. It's everything you want an AIO to be.

The new Mckee's 360 has been favorably compared to HD Speed. It is super easy to use, requires virtually no wipe off, and according to Nick, provides 6 months of protection.

McKee's 37 360 Corrects, Cleans, Seals 360 corrects, cleans, and seals auto paint! 360 is more than a cleaner wax, its a swirl remover, polish, and

Can either of you speak to the durability of these products. In theory, I love the idea of an AIO because it's the right solution for my daily drivers where I'm not looking for perfection. However, with durability in the weeks, rather than months, it actually costs me more time because I'm constantly waxing the car every few weeks. The lack of durability is also a non-starter for winter when I need to go 4~5 without doing anything beyond a touchless wash.

For winter I'd go HD speed and top with collinite or FK1000p. Easily 6 months. I'm still wearing FK1000p from last November. An AIO alone ain't going to cut it for winter.

I'm assuming that McKee's 37 360 is the same formula (or flat out is) XMT360. I'm only saying that based upon the fact that the reviews for XMT360 transferred over to it.

I really liked using XMT360. I've only compared it to Dodo's Need for Speed and I would give the edge to 360 in terms of protection. 360 is a decently thick formula almost toothpaste like, doesn't sling, and finishes really well.

As for protection I have only had success with 360 lasting maybe 2 months. After the first 2-3 weeks the tight beading would diminish and have more of a an amoeba look to the pooling of water. By the end of 2 months water wouldn't even try to bead. I know some people will tell me that beading is not always an indication of protection, but for me that's how I judge it (Mostly a disclaimer for my views). My car is in a pretty harsh environment... South Florida, and not garaged so the paint gets pounded with UV and rain. To put some perspective into it, the longest lasting sealant/wax I have used is collinite 845 and even that would top out at 3 months (in terms of noticeable beading).

Hope this helps.

The Mckee's version of 360 was tweaked and improved. It is NOT identical to XMT360 according to Nick. According to Nick, it maintained all the attributes of the original XMT360 but has much improved durability. His claim was 6 months. I have not yet been able to test it.

Interesting... Thanks for clarifying.

If I was in your situation and the car is fairly in good shape, mckees coating would be a good fit.so so easy to apply and remove and won't break the bank.If your able to clay get some ironx and coat.worry about the imperfections later on when you feel better.or hide them with collinite.aio you will really have to bear down on the pc a bit for any kind of moderate correction.feel better soon.

Interesting. Durability was definitely an issue with XMT360, but I had more of an issue with its cut and working time. Would be interesting to see if any of that was improved as well.

Megs D151 or Menz 3-1 are my go to for AIO, I have Blackfire and Duragloss and reach for the first 2 about 90% of the time. With the right pad you can destroy most defects with them.

HD speed with any pad suggestion?

The consensus is that it works best with a pad that has good cutting ability. I used it with an orange hydrotech pad and it worked extremely well.

^^ HD Speed. Works amazingly well. Great correction for swirls and wipes off oh-so-easy. I agree with the longevity thus I typically top it with another LSP. Have not used Poxy myself but here it's great.

I don't have experience with many but I use Poli-Seal. It offers good protection too, I've gotten at least 4 months out of it. Nice to work with and not priced to bad for the larger sizes.
