I will be doing 2 Hellcats over the winter months and I can't remember the person's name on forum who've done a bunch.

I have a general plan of attack but would like to hear what others have experienced re these cars.

If I recall---paint on these cars have somewhat a factory "haze" on them and easily corrected. I can't remember if the paint was hard or in between hard and soft...

The paint on these cars are in very good shape! Hardly used with minimum swirls and baggie test wasn't too bad either. But will still do light polish just to get them perfect...

Thanks Badger...I'll scoot over there.

Their paint (along with some other makes) has what appears to be dieback in the paint. Typically it can be removed/improved with polishing, in some more severe cases I've seen users have to wet sand, though that wasn't on a Hellcat.

Here are some documented before after pics I took.

I had a 14 durango (black). The paint quality was average at best in terms of consistency across all the panels. I can say it looked very good after i did a full clay and polish. I don't remember the clear being on the harder side at all. It looked pretty good when i bought it new but it didn't pop at all. Could have been the detailer at the dealer with whatever product or just factory not sure. Does a hellcat have any different paint process than any other chrysler? I would be very shocked if they did.

Thank to all of you...

Will follow up on your leads.

For some reason, forum is not letting me respond to each of you. Kept saying my message is too short. What the heck...?
Anyways, Thank You to all of you above this post.
