Newbie here. I purchased the Wolfgang Füzion Estate Wax Mini Connoisseur’s Kit last spring for the first time when I got my new Vechile. However, I never got a chance to use it because of a water ban that lasted the whole summer and fall in my city here in Canada. Is it still OK to use this summer or does it have some expiry date or shelf life? The seal was broken on the Sealant as I wanted to have a look. All other products were left untouched. Thanks for the feedback.

It should work fine. I guess everything has an expiration date but as long as you don't keep it in the extreme heat or cold it should last a long time.

i bring into the house all my better waxes for the winter. thats in oregon let alone the great white north

I have both Turtle wax & Simoniz that are about 20+ years old. The Turtle Wax has a simular texture as it did back in the mid 90's.

I haven't opened the can of Simoniz in about 6-7 years :D

keep it out of heavy temp changes and shake very, very well. Most products will last several years or more with some care.

So why bother with a Date, then ? Is that the Factory's hope to have product "turn-around" ? Or is to help people tell which is their older product and which is their newer stuff?

Tommy... which Canadian City had a Water-ban as tough like yours ?

Fusion can withstand anything. Just bring it to a temperature under 80 degrees for best results before using. I Chill all my waxes to below 50 before using. You will use less product and it will go on cleaner and thinner at cooler temps.

I live in St. John's, NL. Thanks everyone for the relies. Glad to hear I can still use my products. They were all kept inside at room temperature so seems like I should be fine. Thanks again!!

Anything that gets shipped to Calif, must have a "born on" date.

I can personally state that some of my products are at least 15 years old and still fine. I store them inside during the winter months and shake well before using. Naturally if the product looks or smells funny it's thrown away but so far so good. I think freezing is the single most culprit to car care products going bad.
