Explain aio cleaner wax

Really quick, on you and I's Honda and Acura paint M205 can cut well enough like a medium cut in neutral hardness paint. I like it because of the variety of results I can get just from a change in pad.

I bought optimum finishing polish because my car is new but I never thought of using a finishing pad with something like 205. Everyone talks about how good the technology is with these products. I can see why, I don't really see a difference between a medium polish and a finishing polish. Maybe it shows better on a custom paint job that doesn't have any Orange peel

finishing polish works, esp on soft paints with the right pad on a DA. it can really give you that little bit of extra oomph in gloss if you are doing it right and the work prior was done right.

it's just that, yeah, imo most of what finishing polish can do can be done on most finishes with a good modern polish that has cutting edge (ugh) abrasive tech. OPT once said that they changed the formula of Hyper polish from having both DAT and SMAT abrasives to just SMAT so it would finish even better on all paints. whatever they did, it worked lol.

You have silver paint too. My mom has a silver MDX and goes through automatic washes with brushes weekly. So does my dad's new RLX in a dark metallic grey. I can't see defects on them in 95% of lighting situation.
The inverse is true too; when correcting the paint it is very hard to see the difference of adding an additional step. With those colors I could stop using after using M105 and barely know any different than if I stopped with SF4500.

no sense in working in an AIO over and over to remove swirls. work it long enough to clean the paint and remove light marring/scratches and move on. if one is wanting to use it to remove swirls with multiple passes, you might as well use a dedicated polish/compound for that purpose...

+1 match the technique to the product
