I detailed a Nissan Pathfinder the other day.........sorry no pics.......and it couldn't have had a speck of wax on it from 1996. This was just a friendly guesture to clean a friends daughter first car. Being just a weekend hack I did the best I could. I started out with Meg 105 and the results were very good. The only problem is that it kept drying out really fast. So, I switched to Wolfgang TSR and I really like this product. I seem to be able to work this product much longer which is what I needed. Much easier to put on and take off with very good results.

Topped it off with 205 then Power lock. Really good.

My main question is that the exterior trim (wheel trim, etc.) was really faded out. I used Back to Black with good results but it could have been better. It was a bit (very mild) streaky and didn't have the pop I had hoped. This car was soaking up everything I put on it. Any other suggestions??

For an over-the-counter product, you might try Megs' Ultimate Protectant. But for a bit more "pop," as you say, consider Megs' All Season Dressing.

Black Wow works great, but it MUST be worked in with water.:xyxthumbs:

Depends on how faded... Poorboys World Trim Restorer, Ultima Trim and Tire Guard, 303 AP
I have a review that will help you out a lot for this. The work is done but I have to finish writing it. Will be up tonight hopefully

+1 to all above, and it will also take multiple applications over time to restore all the years of abuse, if at all possible. Aerosol Sprays (like Meg's Trim Detailer or CG Fade 2 Black) will make it easier to cover large portions quickly and evenly.

I have had very good results with both Poorboy's World Trim Restorer and Meguiar's Ultimate Protectant. I used Back to Black several times but never had much luck with it.

Ultima and Poorboys ...these are the real deal !

I really like both of these products. I only use ASD on wheel wells. I love UP on running boards. Fortunately neither of my vehicles have any black trim. Ultima TTG pops best IMO FWIW.

I've used Black Again and Ultima Trim and Tire Guard. They are both great
