Looking to upgrade my bissel to an actual hot water extractor that can be purchase online here at autogeek. Any suggestions pros cons etc would be greatly appreciated!!!

I have the Mytee S300. It's the smallest of the water extractors. I purchased it off of AGO. It was around $500 with shipping and all. I'm located in Hawaii, shipping was high. I'm satisfied with it. It works well. If paired with the right pre extraction cleaner, it works even better. I use Chemical Guys Lightning Carpet Cleaner and the brush attachment for my PC 7424XP. Hope this helps.

Keep Calm & Chive On

The longer I'm in detailing the more I think that having a heated extractor isn't that big of deal.

If I was starting fresh, I would get a very powerful cold water extractor and a mytee or vapormaster steamer (which I have now).

I'm not yet ready to disclose all my carpet cleaning tricks, although I can say that I'm using encapsulation technology hint hint.

I almost never use my extractor anymore. . .maybe once every week or two on really bad spills.

I have found (and this may just be me) that in most cases extractors create more problems than they solve.

In Renny Doyle's book. He talks about not really using extractors anymore. Just steam (something like that)

What is your hot water extractor budget? The Mytee LiteII is a great machine which costs approximately $800. While the larger and more powerful Mytee HP60 costs approximately $1,200. Are you detailing vehicles for money or just looking to clean personal rides?

Thank you for the mention Art.
