This is a vehicle we will be wrapping the roof with 3m1080 Carbon Fiber. I wanted to mess around with the roof a little so I buffed it out.

Nice work. What the hell was on the roof? It looked like a combination of bad previous polishing with what looks like dried on wax that wasn't buffed off and god knows what else.

how's the M105 with the MF cutting pad? in compare to D300
 
WOW it looked like clearcoat failure in the second shot but came out awesome.
 
maybe the roof was wetsanded?

seems a shame to cover it with a wrap now...

Love it. We wont use anything else. We just wrapped a civic sedan flat black and we are wrapping a Subaru sti flat military green now.

Auto vinyl solutions. To be honest with you find a great installer and have him teach you when he's doing a job for you. Don't learn from a comerial installer you want to find someone with years of experience doing professional vehicle color changes.
