Does anyone here have an EZ detail brush. What are your thoughts on it, do you think its worth it?

Thanks

It is totally worth it. I was using a Meg's brush that I bought at Big Lots for 5 bucks. It worked well but wore out. I finally decided to take the plunge and pay the hefty price for the EZ Brush. It cleans much better that the Meg's brush and seems to be a higher quality product. My only complaint is that you have to be casreful when you pull back on the brush as it can fling dirt on you.

its a great brush for factory wheels. It is a little firm, and you can bend the tip to really get the entire barrel.

I agree with Red, the brush works great and much better then the Meg's brush. It's one of the brushes I use all the time. Well worth it if you ask me.

Just finished using mine. I love it and would reorder one in a second if anything happened to it. It gets used on 95% of details. I like it most to deep reach into the backs of wheels. It's good on engines too. Easy to keep clean after use.

Thanks guys. Maybe i'll add one to my existing order :D

You guys have convinced me to try this brush. I have the Meg's brush and I like it, but the one I'm using is pretty worn. I do have another brand new one waiting in the wings but after that there are no more. They stopped making the Megs brushes so I guess I was bound to have to try this brush sooner or later.

After reading this I will be adding one to my next order.
I was always a little abrehensive to try it, wondring if it really worked. I guees the verdict is out and does...

I'm cautious about those brushes, have you used on chrome? I have the Meg's wheel brush and it put light swirls in my chrome wheels. I stick to mitt or soft sponge now.

Well i have to say i really hate it but it does the job. It flings brake dust all over me and the handle is very slippery if you get it wet or even wore if some wheel cleaner gets on it, its impossible to hold on to then. The bristles are too soft to clean my wheels well. It does go places where other brushes cant touch. If i were to make improvement's on it i would rubberize the handle and make the bristles stiffer. Its also really hard to clean the front of the wheels with it. Until i find something that can do the same thing better im forced to use it.

I tend to use multiple brushes to clean wheels. Typically I use one brush for the inside of the wheel, another for some of the more tight areas of the face, and a third for the rest of the face. So, this brush would slot quite nicely into my arsenal. Personally, I don't think it's physically possible to design a single brush which will do a good job cleaning all areas of the wheel.

I only use it to clean the inside of the wheels. And it works perfectly for that.

One of the only brushes I use on my wheels. You can actually scrub the inside of the wheel behind the face. Only complaint is that it throws black water everywhere when you pull it out.

The best wheel brush avail IMO

I have one too and I really like it. Like everyone else said it reaches places that other brushes can't. And yes, it will spray back at you if you pull it out from the wheel too fast. Don't ask me how i know this.:)

I've tried to get the crud off the brush after I use it but I don't feel like I'm getting it clean enough. How are you guys cleaning your brush?

I just spray it with water, it seems to clean it pretty good.

I use a little APC or wheel cleaner.

I've soaked it in a bucket with hot water and APC and then run it under hot water but the gunk still sticks to the bristles. I'll give wheel cleaner a try. Thanks.

I spray the brush with whatever was used ie., wheel cleaner, ARO, and throw it in the wash bucket when finished. Always comes out looking new.
