My dealer informed me that the F430 should be replaced in as little as 6 months? I really dont like buying first year models and I definitely do not want an "old" model.

But I really want the Ferrari but I cant really manage to pay for the next up Ferrari. SO....

After with speaking with some of my buddies, I am starting to look at the new Aston Martin DBS.

Any thoughts?

how bout u give me your s2k then ill tell you what to buy ;)

If you plan on going to any HPDE's I would recommend the Ferrari. If you want a gorgeus sports car that is fast, and comfortable get the Aston.
I dont think you will be losing which ever one your pick.
And, I understand your thoughts on not buyin the first year out. But, Ferrari will not dissapoint, even on the first year out.
Mitsubishi might disapoint:confused:, not Ferrari...

You need to race that M5, that will take your mind of any other cars.

That car is amazing!!! Thats it, im changing my major to Sports Medicine.
I am going to print these pics out, hang them over my bed, this will be my motivation. While I study my ass off, I will dream of owning/detailing this car.
Thank you Pirex, for this life changing experience!

why don't you buy a Lotus Exige S and an Ariel Atom and the new Evo X all together for the same price, just kidding!

mmmm...I don't know I'm a bif Ferrari fan and the F430 is one wicked vehicle born and rased for a track.

The Aston Martin though are sweet, sweet vehicles. The curves/shape and the attention to detail is just amazing. As performance, I dont know much about. But it gets my vote for apperance.

I think the Aston Martin is a great looking car. I have driven both DB9's and Vanquish's. I like the feel and performance of a Z06 better and it's only a fraction of the cost. It's really not about what I or anyone else thinks. It's best to do your homework and go drive the different cars you like. Get the one that feels right for you and makes you happy.

How about an Audi R8? I sat in one recently and it was a really amazing car.

I thought you couldn't get the gt3 for whatever reason so you got the m5 and now your thinking of the dbs? Sounds odd to me.

Aston Martin is nice, no doubt, but is not very dependable and costs way too much...ever though about BMW Z8, or Audi R8?

You know what I think! They are completely different cars. Both are very impressive vehicles, but as Gary said, it really comes down to which one you feel is best for you.

Yea, but I sold a property of mine and made a HUGE profit on it, so the wallets fat for now.

Still will be an old car....

If you want a car that's going to spend a lot of time in the shop get the Ferrari. Aston Marton's (owned by Ford) are not known for their dependability either. If you want a well built reliable car that performs and is foreign get a Porsche.
