F430 or ......

If you want a car that's going to spend a lot of time in the shop get the Ferrari. Aston Marton's (owned by Ford) are not known for their dependability either. If you want a well built reliable car that performs and is foreign get a Porsche.

I would have to :iagree: with Gary's statement. Ferrari's are great I've a big Ferrari lover but the more re-search I do on them the more I realise that they are mechanic's best friend lol...I still like Ferrari but I've now started looking at other vehicles. Porche is one of them, besides after detailing a Porche and driving it they are quite a nice machine. Specially the GT wow what a vehicle :righton:

I agree with you FMINUS, forget the American cars. Hey, unless you want a ton of beautiful plastic to stare at all day, hehehe...

Whichever you get, you're going to love it more than anything. Aston Martin, Ferrari, Porsche, all great cars! Drive 'em all, pick whichever one you like best.

And congrats on your property sale!

MMMMMM

Audi R8.....

I never understood why they put that black stripe down the side. I saw one the other day and it ruins the car. I had hoped that it was one of those things that looks better in person than in photos, but no luck.

If the wallet is fat, get a really fancy sports car, like a Koenigsegg CCX

or a Pagani Zonda

yuck!
I don't think he works in sports medicine...
P1et is right!
Why not find another GT3 like you originally wanted?
My buddy just picked one up, after I declined mine, and we made a pact not to ever get the same thing hahaa.
are u a loan officer?
If I were a loan officer in this market, I would be looking for a Ford Taurus......

Love the loan officer comment, hehehhee...

What about a Noble? Top Gear tested one and it turned faster laps than both the Ferrari 430 and the new Corvette Z06....

MMMMMM

I got to see one of these in person recently (there are only about 90 in the U.S.A. right now). It was set among Lambos, Ferraris, Aston Martins, and Bentleys but stood out like a sore thumb (in a good way). Out of all the cars in this particular garage it was absolutely the most exciting looking car inside and out.

Also, FYI to those who don't like the black stripe on the side you can get the car without it.

the people i know who work as loan officers make good money..enough to afford those cars easily...only reason i asked ...jus my $0.02

ohhhh a noble would be nice, than people wouldnt make fun of you for having a pansy m5 if you had a real sports car at home. :)

That's not a fair statement P1et. I have seen a lot of cars both from Germany and Japan that where pretty cheap and had lots of problems. A lot depends on the model and the manufacturer. There are some US cars that are very nice. I can say from experience that a lot of the service departments of high end foreign cars really suck. I do feel one should buy the car they like best but just because it's foreign does not mean it's going to be a good car.

You're right, there are plenty of cheap looking European and American cars, absolutely. I was speaking about the higher-end market where I find that American cars are still lacking when comparing them to European category equivalents.

Not looking to start a war here, just voicing my opinion. There is only one American sportscar that I would purchase and that's a Viper.

Can you please give me an example of a mass produced German car sold here in the U.S.A which has cheap looking materials? Japanese cars I can give you multiple examples, but I'm having trouble with a German car.

Absolutely though some German cars break A LOT. I speak from experience.

:D , pure, raw, and brutal, me no need no stinking save your but gizmo's. We may sell the ACR, 08' Viper mmmmm. Track car for street use, what a machine they've said from the few who've driven it. One of the best suspension setups of any car, the new Tremec 6 speed and GKN differential etc. I can't wait to drive it. One of the guys on another forum was able to test it and he owns quite a few cars from current SRT and ZO6 to couple exotics, said the car blew him away. Driven plenty of exotics and of course the Z, heck mothers boyfriend has a new Z, and Viper is the only car that makes me get all giddy, its just an raw animal, so much fun....if my checking account would allow it I'd have a Zonda in a heartbeat, damn checking account lol. But thats just me, I love raw, connected cars. We used to have a nice 95' 993 which was excellent, 996 what a bore except for the GT3, and the 997tt is a total snoozemobile no matter how quick it is, I found it to be borring as hell. Neighbor got rid of his after 2 months, and look on some of the Porsche boards and you'll see people saying the same thing. 997 GT3 in white, I'd take :)

As far as the post, Aston DBS, so sexy and love the aggressiveness they injected in it (but I won't be suprised if dealers add a huge markup as down here dealers have gotten calls like crazy as the demand for it is high and think only a couple hundred cars are comming over). F430 is a great driving car, but just doesn't do anything for me lookswise, I'd take a Gallardo over it in a second. Though we owned a 328 and 355 of which were piles of sh!t, 355's interior would start comming unglued and falling apart, and thank god we didn't have the F1 trans as on that car its a 15K job if the pump goes out. Vanquish is outdated, DB9 is reliable, one of the companies next door, owner has about 30K on his 05' DB9 and he also has the rare 6 speed manual trans which is hard as hell to find.
