I park under a tree 24/7/365 and its nice it provides shade in the summer but this tree is also the bane of my cars existence. It drops these little crap apple looking things and they destroy all 4 of us that park near it in the fall.

Since the weather was exceptional today I took the chance to give the daily drive some attention. I only did the exterior. The plan was to use the 2 bucket method with ONR, APC and claying as needed. A polish step will be done next week as the sun had set on me. Its good enough for now.

Darn you tree!!

This is what I was dealing with.

Weapon of choice after having done this a few times already. APC followed by Clay and then ONR. The Pinnacle Sponge was the only thing that got off some of the gunk as the clay was too mild so it came in handy.

Some pics of the APC dwelling to break down this nasty gunk all over.

Wow, I hope you are using a good LSP with constant tree contaminants like that. Looks much better!

put on 3 coats of wolfgang seal or blackfire seal and it will give a very nice protection
i used 1coat of wolfgang liquid seal on a (not waxed car) and after a few minutes i sprayed water and there was beading! 0.o

I think the tree needs to come down.

funny my wife said the same thing lol

I plan on doing another touch up session this week followed up by 205 and then ill hit it with a sealant and then a wax to top it off.

Wow! That really came out nice! What APC did you use to remove that? I had that same problem on my sister's car few weeks back and it was a real pain.

Im really impressed you did all that without a using the traditional wash and rinse system.

Good Job!

Sorry...I didn't see the APC written at the bottom.

no worries, Megs APC +. Forgot my dilution but I know it favors being "strong"

Im really impressed you did all that without a using the traditional wash and rinse system.

Good Job!

Thank you kind sir, I was a skeptic until I tried ONR for a very dirty vehicle and I tell you what, I BELIEVE! lol
