Use of APCs are all over this board for a variety of tasks. I only have limited experience thus far.

What is your favorite APC? Why? For what uses?

Thanks.

On wheel wells and anything not paint sensitive I like CG's Grime Reaper. I always use it with a foaming sprayer and it seems to foam up, cling, and clean better than most. It doesn't hurt it's only like $20 a gallon and is like neon purple. For these areas LA's Totally Awesome also works just as well and is a $1 a bottle.

For paint stick with P21S TAW or Sonus All in 1.

For heavy cleaning, my go to is marine Spray 9. If I don't use that I go with Simple Green.

Like Simple Green , Zep , I have some BF that I need to use more often .

P21S Total Auto Wash for most everything pertaining to the painted surfaces. For wheels I stick with Sonax Full effect, but that is a dedicated wheel cleaner. I have also had great results with Roll-Off. I also like Megs APC.

HUMP

I'm becoming a BIG fan of "LA Awesome" (Dollar Store stuff), especially on tires.

ALL-Clean is all I have used so far and it appears to work fine. I have heard OPC is good as well but haven't used it. Probably try that next.

Alien Kleen...aka Optimum Power Clean

Sent from my SPH-M930 using AG Online

Chemical Guys All Clean+: great all-around APC that can be used on any painted surface, plastic, carpet, upholstery, etc. It's dilution ratios are very high so even the 16 oz bottle will last a long time. I've used to clean my tires, wheel wells, bugs, int/ext plastic, and carpet/upholstery.

Honorable Mention: LA Totally Awesome; use with good ventilation if applying heavy though.

Have used APC, APC+, OPC, All Clean+ and 1z blitz

I like opc for exterior cleaning and 1z Blitz is by far my favorite for interiors.

How would you compare the cleaning ability of Meg's APC to OPC? I use OPC currently, but as you know it is relatively expensive, I am looking for a cheaper alternative for tires, wheel wells, and the engine bay so I can stretch my current stash of OPC longer.

Charlie's soap, use it for everything around the house. For around the car (wheels and tires) I'm using Amazing Roll Off pretty much exclusively.
