Favorite Car Song?

As a Mustang owner since the 70's and having recently been in an oldies band I second Mustang Sally. Love Jesus built my hot rod. Also Commander Codie's Hot Rod Lincoln. Zz Top's Eliminator Album, The Dead Milk Men's Bitching Camaro, and finally the old VW commercial where they turned Little GTO into Meinen GTI. There is also a killer Deep Purple song don't remember the title I think it's Highway Star.

"Rev it on the Red Line" Foreigner

"I'm in Love With My Car" Queen

"Manny, Moe, & Jack" The Dickies

"Drive" The Cars

Kings of the Highway" Chris Issac

"Magic Carpet Ride" Steppenwolf

"Life in the Fast Lane" The Eagles

Anything by Godsmack, Disturbed or Sevendust

For those that like the Beach Boys 409, check out this version by guitar wizard Junior Brown. The Beach Boys were so impressed with Junior that they sang the background vocals.

For now that's all I can think of.

A couple of my favorites, they were featured in Smokey and the Bandit Part 3...

Both by John Stewart
It Aint the Gold
&
Ticket For the Wind

They are both excellent windows down, highway cruising songs.

Then, of course, East Bound and Down by Jerry Reed.

Sorry to be a music snob but all those songs are soooo over played on the radio but if you like them while driving your car, well, all you gotta do is turn on your radio and your all set. What, no Boston, Journey, BOC or Steve Miller Band in the mix, LOL.
