Favorite Christmas Show

Two Christmas movies I dislike greatly and never understood everyone's fascination in are the National Lampoons Christmas Vacation and the Christmas Story. Don't know why. Just never could make myself like them.

A few I do like very much:

1. It's a Wonderful Life.
2. Most of the old Claymations.
3. Eyes Wide Shut.

Scrooge 1951 w/Alistar Simm

Alistar Simm is my favorite Scrooge.

I don't like the ending of It's a Wonderful Life.
Clarence should have told George Bailey that old man Potter had the money. Then all those people wouldn't have had to give their life savings to keep George out of jail.

You need to see the Saturday Night Live extra ending where Uncle Billy and George Bailey go over to Potter's to beat the you know what out of Potter after Uncle Billy finally remembers what happened to the money.

Here is a remake of it.

Yeah, you have to get taken over by the good feeling of the ending to such a degree that you don't remember that Potter kept the money. While the credits role I generally go "Hey!". But then I remember that the theme of the movie isn't retribution and it is best to focus on the good in the world.
