Favorite classic muscle car

It was to long and bulky looking. Just didnt really seem very smooth looking

Thats alright Irish..thats still one hell of sweet looking ride you got there.

I had a black '69 Camaro that I loved.

Too many great classics to pick just one.

I really like my friends 66 Chevy II SS that I color sanded for him (this is *lacquer* paint!):

G'day Men: This is a fantastic topic, I might add!! Although I owned a 1969 Chevelle 396/375 HP L78 brand new in 1969 it is not my favorite muscle car now. I could pick out a few, such as same 396/375 HP combination in a 1969 Chev Nova or same combo in a 1969 or 1970 Camero. However, my favorite would have to be a 1970 Oldsmobile 442 with the W30 option on it. I would like to buy one today. But are big bucks, even if you can find one.

Glad someone else on here is showing the 442 some love!! That is a sweet car and I love the W30 hood!:props:

1970 1/2 RS/Z/28 but I too am a little biased!!!

I would also take my father's 1969 Chevelle SS396 4 Spd w/78,000 original miles (purchased in Dec 70) or my sister's 1969 Chevelle SS 396 w/427/TH400. But again, still a little biased.

Someone should move this thread to the off topic forum ;)

70 Challenger R/T 4-speed 440 6-pack

68-70 Roadrunner 383 or 440 4-speed

70 Olds 442

70 Chevelle LS5 or LS6 4-speed

69-70 Mustang Boss 302 4-speed Grabber Blue

70 Buick GSX

Sounds to me like there might be some older guys here!

For me? It's a 69 Camaro. Would have bought one but it was $1,000.00 more than the Cutlass I bought & couldn't afford the payments.

I think that the original post should be edited to require everyone to post a picture off the net of the car(s) that they list.

:postpics:

Had a 68 Charger R/T and a 69 Charger. Loved 'em! But I like all the muscle cars. The early GTO and 442 were awsome. I knew some people with the 63 Ford fast backs with the 427 - awesome! The old Chrysler 300 letter series were a great road car. The Shelby Cobras were in a class by themselves. I alonost bought a 70 Coronet R/T, but the insurance was like 1900 a year (in 1970).
