I'm not sure if there is a post about this already. I feel like I've seen a post similar to this. So sorry if there is.

But here's my question, what is your favorite drying aid for waxes and sealants? How about favorite drying aid for coatings?

Thank you

Mckees 37 10 Minute Paint Sealant FTW

I also like Polish Angel High Gloss and Viking Spritz but the price is extremely hard to justify... Mckees37 10MPS does an amazing job for $28!

Although I have tried the Mckee's, I would prefer something that smells better and is a little more user friendly. As in, a trigger spray head. But the shine is worth it no doubt.

Just trying to see what everyone prefers.

Have you tried the Trade Mark Extender Spray Wax? Before 10MPS came out I was using that as a drying aid.

Is it okay to use that on a coated vehicle or no?

For a waxed/sealed car I like Meguiars Ultimate Quik Wax or Kenotek Showroom Shine.

For cars with coatings my favorite is Carpro EchO2 at 1:20 ratio.

This is what I was looking for as a response. Thanks so much!

When I have used a drying aid which I don't normaly do. I bought a Flairosol spray bottle to get an even and lightly mist over the wet paint. Then used Sonax Brilliant Shine Detailer at 1:1 with destilled water. Got a little pop on the paint and got a little lubrication from it.

The reason I stopped useing drying aid. Was that the drying towels I use is of great quality and don't marring the paint with them. And if I want some glossenhancers I get better results at applying them after drying. Then the hassle of getting the drying towels to wash them as soon as possible after useing a drying aid was a must. Otherwise the drying towels loose effectiveness to soak up water. And to revive them again is a another hassle to be doing if that happens.

Sorry for the off topic. If you get to maintain your drying towels after useing a drying aid you are fine. But it's no fun if you see your favorite drying towel don't work as used to.

Wax/Sealant: DG Aquawax or Meg’s D156
Coating: Trademark Extender

Has anyone ever mixed Meguiar's Last Touch Spray Detailer with Meguiar's Synthetic X-Press Spray Wax? Anything special or no?

I've been using a mixture of ONR Wash and Wax, Opti Seal and distilled water. Seems to be working well as a drying aid and gives a bit of extra protection and pop.

I second that, especially the Carpro part.

I guess I'm old school,I prefer a good clean chamois and a nice breeze,,lol

I used Bead Maker as a drying aid the other day on my personal car. It has various coatings on it. It worked very well and left the paintwork looking nice from various angles and lighting. The paintwork didn't feel super slick afterward or 24 hours later, but it sure looked nice! C2v3 at 1:1 and Opti-Seal are great too. I enjoy it every time I use Meguiar's D156 as a drying aid. It smells fantastic and is very easy to use.

If you just want to add lubrication to the drying phase you could use N914 at 1:128. This won't add anything to alter the performance of whatever protection is already installed.

My mixture of Wolfgang Uber detail spray also doubles as a drying aid. 3/4 ounce of concentrate per 32 ounces of distilled water works well.
