Favorite drying towel of 2017?

Just ordered the GG pfm. Although I mostly do waterless and rinseless washes, I thought I'd give this one a try. I'm so easily influenced

This should be great for rinseless, from what I have read

Went with a big and little Pfm to try them out. I'll be buying more. Great towel.

I hate to go outside the AutoGeek ecosystem here but I'd feel remiss not to mention towels from The Rag Company. The Pluffle has recently become my favorite drying towel.

Have you compared the Griot PFM towel?

I'm also voting for the PFM. Best drying towel I've ever used. I have the large one and I find that it's a bit big and bulky for doing the vertical surfaces, but it's manageable. Maybe the smaller PFM towels would be better for that. I think getting both would be really hard combo to beat.

While the pluffle is a nice towel, it does Not dry anywhere nearly as well as the PFM's. Only towel that will perform like it is Microfiber Madness DMC.
The Big Blue is nice, but IMO it's better used for blot drying.

Used my PFM today, and oMg. That thing works great.. If you need one or want it buy it.

Big Blue drying towel if I'm drying my vehicles here at home... Waffle Weaves & PFM knockoffs if I'm drying customers vehicles.

The Griots PFM is what I use now exclusively.

Am only a hobby guy, so high volume is not that important.

They work so well (I use the 16 x 16 size) that all my others are going to be obsolete.

A must have if doing ONR.

I have had some PFM knockoffs (don't know what they called when I bought them) for some years, but never used them for drying.

Did a comparison last weekend and there is a night and day difference, even though they look exactly the same (size, colour, trim, texture everything).

To be fair, the knockoffs were used for wax removal, so some residual wax may be causing the difference in performance.

The PFM drags a bit over the wet surface on first pass (I suspect it is the adhesion of water molecules to the each other).

Second pass not so much and not at all when completely dry.

That's a big ole 10-4

Alas, I have not. I think I'll throw one in my basket to be included when I next place an AG order. Since discovering TRC a few years ago I must admit to possibly having blinders on. I really like their products and customer service.

The aqua color cobra waffle weave and the gold one

You like those? I ordered 3 cobra gold towels on the high praise they got. What I received I would not even call a towel. It's a piece of hard sponge. I never use them, serious waste of good money ;( I still use my microfiber drying towels I purchased at Walmart 4 years ago, they work very well.
