Favorite Final Wipe Down Product?

I was liking Jaxwax, until I ran into one time where it was leaving something behind. Couldn't quite get it off until I used Eraser.

3D Wipe works well enough, but the vinegar odor is quite strong.

Haven't tried M122, but I'm sure I will at some point or another.

I miss the older Eraser scent! One of the clients even said, "man, that stuff smells good!"
I've got the Eraser aroma CarPro fresheners swingin' from the mirror in 2 of our cars...enjoying a bit of Eraser each drive!

Have been enjoying the Gyeon Prep smell lately as well, never really noticed it before. Gyeon has some other nice smelling products too. Glass is really nice, Interior Detailer is pretty good but the best is Quick Detailer...smells like coconut sunscreen & the beach

So these products are what you are using right before buffing?

I do have some carpro eraser, but haven't tried it.

Blackfire Panel prep smells nice….. cotton candy/bubble gum? It’s not eraser good but for $35 for a gallon i figured why not.

Worked well when i polished the Rav4.

Edit: when i say “not Eraser good” I meant the scent. I feel it did an excellent job of removing polishing oils after polish.

What do you mean by "buffing"? Do you mean polishing? Eraser, Prep and others products like them are used after polishing and before LSP application to remove any oils and other residue left behind from the polishes.

Originally, I think they were designed to be the prep before coating application, but many these days use them before a sealant application too. I've got some Wolfgang SiO2 Paint Sealant which actually states you should use a prep product before application.

From what I've read on panel wipes, that I didn't know before, is that while most are IPA based, most good ones contain some type of mild solvents. Reason being, a strictly IPA based panel wipe is good for moving the remaining oils around on the surface but doesn't actually dissolve them. So, the better panel wipes will lift the remaining oils off the surface and break them down as well completely removing them from the surface.
