My Christmas gift in 2009 is being in good health after recovering from major surgical/health issues starting ~20mos. ago in early '08......and the caring, help and love I received to make it back for the holidays this year.. My New Year's 2010 present will be clean & disease free test results from an endoscopic exam that I will have on Jan. 7th, after something small turned up on a CAT scan I had just prior to Christmas.
Nothing, no matter how wonderful a gift and how beautifully wrapped & exciting will top the results I am hoping and praying to hear after my test. My gift will be "being well", living w/o these huge levels of anxiety and just, "being", again. Know what I mean?
That will be my favorite gift!
See ya.
