Thanks Chilly! You just cost me $237 Scratch that $201 with DRAKE15 coupon at Maxshine direct.
Love that it comes with everything! I did watch allot of reviews, now that it's been out 6 months. It scores high!

Just paying the enabling forward...

Let us know how you like it

I really liked my little SPTA polisher but I wasn't able to get extra batteries for it and SPTA seems a bit flaky in their business practices so I am not going that direction again

Rupes LHR15 Mark III first impression & comparison. - YouTube

I think i would eventually purchase the 620 shinemate if my machine breakdown. Back to where i started! :D Waxedshine has very little exposure it seems. Nice looking machines. The new griots units are junk, my G8 is not built near so well as my first gen. G15. I never used that thing so far this year. Just using the 15mm DA so far.

I do love the black and white....really doesn't seem worth the extra money to me...

The classic Rupes conversation!!

The way things sit right now if I was buying a 5" 15mm machine today it would be a 620 as well

I will defiantly let you know. Enabler:D

You picked up the shinemate? There mini rotary is a little tank. Excellent quality from what i can see.

I used it a little bit. Different animal than DA. I did get the famous buffer trails on my rims with the 1-2 inch pads. I also tried it on my headlight and front bumper - which need a respray. Smooth machine but it can "walk" on you when your first learning. I'm by no stretch good on the tool but i can manage to keep it from walking too much.

Hmmmmm, I don't think I had heard of them before but who knows

There are soooooo many new (or new to me) detailing supply companies that I easily lose track

I clicked on a YouTube video the other day thinking it was a channel I was familiar with and it was someone totally new to me

The guy had his own line of detailing products that I am 99% sure were custom bottling jobs like so many others

There simply aren't that many blending houses out there

His practices were also very sketchy so I immediately wrote him and "his products" off

I just gave the Waxedshine website the once over and the machines seem to have very similar specs to so many of the rebadged private label machines out there

There is probably nothing wrong with them but not knowing the brand I think I would need to see some long term use and reviews before pulling the trigger on one

Maxshine and shinemate make ALOT of the rebrands out there

Comes today since they are literally 40 miles from my house. I have none of them from my earlier says and they were well regarded for nice quality. I wouldn't at all be supprised if they do in fact build Adam's and a few others. And yes Coatings AC they do have exactly the same specs. I have alway known most brand besides the heavy hitters are all re brands. And is what I usually look at when I am in the market for something. Like why would I buy the Adam's SK Micro for $240 (Bare bones!) when I can get the same polisher with 3 different orbits, extension,Pads and a case for $200
So far this year I have a couple 5' clay pads, 3 piece rotary extensions and a bag. As far as quality no problems. As for the bag I got from them, I like it better than my $90 Rupes and $80 Geon and it was only $55. It smoked the other 2 buy a wide margin

I had the IBRID Long with the deluxe kit and decided I was better off with the Flex XCE 10-8 and the Rupes Mini for $80 more

I broke out perfect finish and leale again today and done 1 door each - i polish slow lol - it was cool, damp and windy, the usual. Neither dusted up and i left both on the door until i was finished all my sections - 3-4 sections.

Both wipeoff very easily with perfect finish a little bit better. I'm going to breakout 3D one for the next door i think just for giggles. Its usually a PITA to wipeoff the panel.

Looks? I don't see any difference. Both was with the orange LC HDO/CCS pad. My favorite.

Just a side note: I don't know about anyone else but my paint was VERY rough after just 18mths or so since i lasted clayed. For me at least these 2-3 year coatings are not worth it anymore. It took me a while to figure that one out lol

That said i think if you clean you car 2-3x per month ceramic coatings might be for you.

For me i think a good AIO every 6-12 months with some top ups.

I think it will be the new Rupes UNO advanced or 3D speed. Maybe just continue with primer. I have a full 120ml bottle left. I was actually impressed by the water behavior today on my bonnet after letting primer sit for a few days - it was HIGHLY polished though i done 2 steps twice - 2 steps to prep and 2 more to remove the first 2 layers of cancoat lol!. I rinsed it down to prep for cancoat - 1 sprayer is ruin already....smells like paint thinner or something. Very strong. Coatings are just not my style haha

Which of them makes the Adam's tools?

Just a FYI i used carpro's multix and KC green star cut 10:1 a number of times the last week. Green star has a much more neutral smell. Multix while not spray nine/purple power strong is stronger than green star and stronger than i remembered. Green star is nicer to use for detailing IMO. I thought i liked multix and i do but i like greenstar even more. Cheaper and a more neutral smell.

3D One and Perfect Finish are tied! :D

If it's good tomorrow i think i will breakout 3D to finish the last 2 doors. I REALLY do like the smell and it worked great on 2 doors last year with the rupes yellow foam.

I'm a sucker for good smelling products.

Gotta love a freshly polished car!! Especially if you're like me when your maintenance game is in the dump. :D
