I have always used free detergent but I am thinking of buying Micro-Restore. Is it worth it or does the detergent work just as well?

I use the DP MF wash and it does well ... cant say bad ace as I havent used anything else

Microrestore works for me. Microrestore was a better value than DP when I got it.

all works great. get the one that is scent and fabric softner free:)

I've tried several (Woolite,MicroRestore,DP Microfiber Cleaner,CG Micro Rejuvenator,APC) and I keep going back to DP's.I picked up several gallons of it on the DP BOGO awhile back.

IMO,laundry detergent doesn't clean MF's that have been used for removing (contaminated with) polishes/LSP's,as well as a dedicated MF cleaner.

I've used the Griots microfiber and foam pad cleaner with great success. I hand wash all my foam pads and they always feel and look like new after using it.

Thanks for the suggestions. Seems to be all over the place.

Micro-Restore. None will completely remove heavy stains from the towels, IMO.

I use ALL perfume and dye free detergent and it works well.

I've been very happy with Micro Restore as well. Far better than the Pinnacle microfiber detergent.

I pre-soak in a five gallon bucket with Dawn, Megs APC+ and warm water, agitate and spray the x-tra dirty ones with more APC. This breaks down LSP's and compounds, then I wash in the machine as I normally would with vinegar in the rinse to help soften them.

The pre-soak has saved many MF's IMO.

Chemical guys and DP. both of these seem to rinse cleanly better than the others.

be carefull that you are sure to keep running the rinse cycle when using the Micro-Restore. IMO this product is very difficult to rinse cleanly. I have used the rinse cycle over 10 times (not kidding) to get the towels to rinse freely without sudsing. (it helps to have a washer machine with a see through front window)

With all the talk about microfiber cleaners. Are any of the cleaners (HE) compatible?
I have been using Tide Free/Clear HE mostly. But, was wondering will AG or other companies be coming out with a HE compatible microfiber cleaner in the near future ?

All free and clear...cheap and available OTC. I use to use Microrestore, but there really is no difference in the towels using All.

Very interesting!

I use Woolite and it seems to get the stains out the best. Then every few washes I follow up with Micro Restore.

1st Post :)
