So glad this thread popped up. I've been looking for something to make one of my black car's really pop and there's some great info on this thread. Up until now I had used Meguiar's Synthetic Sealant 2.0 topped with DP Max Carnuba Wax. The results were good, but I really want more pop to the black color on the car. I'll be trying some of the combos listed in this thread, thanks guys!

PO85rd and WG FG 3.0 are virtualy the same product. I'm wondering why you just didn't jewel with WG. Did you use paste or liquid Souveran ?

I used the Souveran Paste wax. I don't know if the Wolfgang Finishing Glaze is the same as Menzerna SF 4500. In my experience, the ultra-finishing polish SF 4500 is ultra-finishing as compared to finishing and adds a little extra pop to the paint. That's why I use it for jewelling.

I didn't think after three pages on this I would have anything to add but I do :). In my opinion, nothing (BFWD, #845, BFMS, Fuzion, M21) looks better on black then Meguiars Gold Class Carnauba Plus. There is something in it that deepens the black and makes it look wet.

The context of that statement was after using #7 Show Car Glaze on black paint, most waxes would decrease D.O.I. while M26 would actually increase D.O.I.
I asked a chemist friend about this and he said it was because M26 has/had the ability to bend light. Maybe one of our engineering type people can explain how that would work...
D.O.I. = Distinction of Image
The ability of a surface to reflect an image clearly. A mirror offers 100% D.O.I.

Any new products that out perform this combo?
