Favorite quick detail spray? I have one for ya

Can't believe no one has mentioned this but UWW+ makes a great quick detail spray.

+1 I nolonger use a dedicated QD. I use UWW+ followed by V7. However if you want a carnauba based QD try poorboys QD+

I never had a preference really until I started using V7, just so easy to work with!
I was hoping I'd like ONR as a cost efficient QD, but not so far. Any advice?

Poorboys Spray and Gloss. I also consider their bird sh#t remover a good one as in an emergency

UWW+!!! Awesome quick detail spray and very cheap! Costs about $0.85 for 22 ounces (including product and deionized water).

  • Poorboy’s Spray & Gloss
  • BlackFire Instant Detailer
  • Dodo Juice Red Mist

I have to second pb spray and gloss, it is truly awesome. I also like pinnacle crystal mist. Spray and gloss is my got to simplify bc it is easy and gloss is great!

I've had good results with Griots Speed and Shine. I have some DP Rinseless Wash and Gloss that I haven't diluted for detail spray yet- any opinions on the DP diluted spray?

I like UWW+ also. I think it's the polycharger in it that makes it so great

I'm with Waxman on Chemical Guys Speed Wipe. It's some great stuff. I also use their Synthetic detailer and have tried their P40 detailer. I have not tried the V7. It's next to try. The P40 doesn't clean as well as the Speed wipe it seems but probably offers more protection. The Speed wipe is great after washing and cleans up water spots very well.

for looks, I go for v7. but if I need a wipedown before applying an lsp, or trying to remove some collinite/klasse I put on too thick, I go for the ONR dilution. y? no protectants or gloss enhancers that would affect bonding

Are you saying that ONR has no polymers?

Had much more luck with WW's than QD's......for cleaning up quick....

That might be too subtle for him to get the rhetoric but just to educate kline thirty nine:

Optimum says this right on their website:
This unique product contains substantive polymers which bond to the paint and protect it during the wash.

and Autogeek's site says this:

Add 8 ounces of No Rinse Wash & Shine to a gallon of water to make an excellent quick detailer. Fill up a spray bottle with this mixture and use it to clean and shine your vehicle, just as you would use a traditional detailer. The proprietary polymers bond to the paint surface to protect it from abrasion and micro-marring as you clean. The incredible formula leaves your vehicle extremely slick and glossy, like you just applied wax!
