It did release well and also felt zero grit. The sponge is actually very comfortable to use. I'm steering to this as my favorite. I have all of the sponges. even Kamikaze.

What sponge is that? It's quite unique looking.

Looks like the ‘Ultimate Jumbo Foam Cross-Cut Sponge w/ Easy Grip EVA Handle’

I'm pretty happy with the UBS but I have been itching to try the BGS. The lighter color and extra softness of the gold sponge are compelling.

The gold sponge is very soft.

Frothe is the slipperiest I've used. UWW is excellent when used as a Rinseless, too.

for those of you who enjoy/like the GG brilliant finish rinseless wash..

That's a bummer, I do really like the stuff. Hopefully they have something new in the pipeline. On their instagram page they have a SEMA teaser; looks like there's a single 35oz bottle hiding in the shadow.

It's been replaced with Ceramic Rinseless Wash.

Dang. The Brilliant Finish has been my go-to for doing Rinseless washes on the race cars at work, as well as what I find myself reaching for at home for a "plain" wash. I've got a bit of a reserve to get through yet, after that I'll have to decide which route to go. I've got N-914 to finish too...

Still available on Amazon at a slightly inflated price.

Sorry I was thinking of something else. I’m not sure what the status is on BRW.

So Gyeon will be the new contender with their EcoWash. Sounds similar to Ech20. Sio2/gloss etc. Rinseless or Waterless.

The V5 ONR that came out earlier in the year is supposed to be very nice, for a "plain" wash. You can get it in an 8oz bottle to try, Amazon Prime. I can't comment on V5 cuz I'm still working through older versions. If you don't like it...it still works for floors, although the V5 is supposed to be very slick, which reminds me of the time I got a bunch of UWW on blowout and decided it would be good to use on my kitchen floor; I only did that once.

Griots BFR was one of my worst scored out of my 17-way test.

Not suprised they discontinued it

at the 3:58 mark there is mention of their protection-free rinseless wash (most likely referring to the brilliant finish rinseless wash that was recently discontinued) actually being reformulated actively...

Comment from Nick Griot on the BFRW. I asked him why it was removed from the website if they have plenty in stock.
