Favorite Spray Wax/Sealant

Make your own. If you aren't a full-on reload lover the below will work well. Perhaps put in 4oz of reload instead.

I highly recommend mixing up what I call "blue juice" and use it as part of your routine.

  • Pick up a nice 32oz bottle and good sprayer
  • Mix up some ECH20 at 1:20 ratio with distilled water
  • Fill the 32oz bottle to 28oz line with the above
  • Add 2oz of CarPro Reload
  • Shake well before using

I really like Adams H2O Guard and Gloss

But my McKees37 Trademark Extender Spray Wax arrived today and it seems really nice. Longevity has not yet been established, but on a cool surface it went on and flashed quick and easy

Whatever happened to DP Quick Wax in that aerosol can? Are there similar products that work as well?

I tend to use Megs Fast Finish as a lsp, then between wax jobs after maybe every 2 or 3 washes, I use Megs Quick Wax. But the Quick Wax doesn't seem to freshen up the shine...

Has anyone here tried C-Magic's Radiant spray ceramic coating? A few guys on the Corvette Forum mentioned it but I had never heard of it. There is a bit of confusion as to whether or not it's a ceramic coating or a sealant though, but if it is just a sealant it does sound like it has a lot of the typical properties of a ceramic coating (repelling water, light dirt and dust, protection from bird droppings, etc.) I just tried out Meguiar's UFF on my wife's car yesterday and was impressed with how easy it is to use but I'm always looking to try new things. I think spray on/wipe off products are the wave of the future, much less work than waiting for something to haze and then having to put some elbow grease into removing it. And even if they don't last as long as a true ceramic coating, if you can apply it to the car in 20 minutes, it's something you will want to do every month or two and then you have that fresh level of protection all the time (I think even a good ceramic coating will lose some of it's properties after a while even though technically it's still protecting)

Miguiars fast finish has been on a work truck for over 6 months and still doing good

Have used several of these. I tend to use Aquawax more often because it's a great drying aid and it's inexpensive (got my for $5 per bottle on BOGO). However...DG Rinseless (931) mixed at 10:1 is hard to beat on cost. I'm also using the Ech2o/Reload mix more and more since it's great on coated or uncoated cars. Also less expensive than spray wax or detailer, works as well or better, lasts as long as most spray waxes.

Man, if I could find something that doesn't allow dust to adhere to my car that would great. In trying UFF now. I park my car in a parking garage and it's always breezy bringing dust onto my car. The dust seems to just stick and after just a few days I'm forced to wash because I can't stand it... Lols

Is there something i should look for in a spray wax that will help more with UV rays? I know everything says it has a protectant in it nowadays, but I am in the south this vehicle is never in a garage. I will be correcting / sealing with 360 in the next couple weeks.. so i need something to use in between using my sealant that will help keep the gloss on my black car, and to help with the sun.

Prima Hydro Max is another excellent option. So easy to use and super slick. Months of protection. Apply it to wet or dry paint.

Aqua Glow a spray sealant thats made by Technitions Choice AKA Daubert Chemical. We use it a lot at the dealer I work for . Puts out a great gloss, and last a long time. It can be used on a dry car or wet car. We use it wet on new cars.

Sonax BSD- the hydrophobic properties are amazing for a spray on sealant. Lasts a while also.

McKee’s 37 Extender Spray Wax. Tried it recently. Was really impressed. Easy to apply in the sun, slick as heck. Not sure of the durability yet. Great shine! Good beading. Good on windows also. Good stuff!
